Kyle’s Story
Kyle first moved to Lakewood in 2014, renting an apartment on the Gold Coast. Drawn in by the city’s charm, diversity, and strong sense of community, he quickly realized this wasn’t just a place to live—it was home. In 2020, he purchased his first house on Cliffdale Avenue, where he still lives today and remains deeply rooted in the neighborhood.
Kyle’s journey hasn’t always been easy. He grew up about 45 minutes south of Lakewood and struggled in high school. It wasn’t until college at Kent State that he discovered his purpose, ultimately earning his law degree and being admitted to the New York Bar. After practicing law in New York City, Kyle realized that the traditional legal path didn’t allow him to serve others in the way he truly wanted. That realization led him to launch Esquire CLE, a continuing legal education business he runs from his home in Lakewood.
Today, Kyle is a proud attorney, author, entrepreneur, and advocate. His life and career are driven by resilience, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference. Kyle believes in the power of community, and he’s ready to bring people together to move Lakewood forward.
Outside of Work
When he’s not serving his community or running a business, Kyle enjoys ultra-running, yoga, writing, road trips, Cleveland sports, camping, and hiking. He brings the same energy, determination, and endurance to every part of his life—including the opportunity to serve Lakewood as your next Ward 2 City Council member.
